GOP Committee on Policy~Liberty Wide Awakes Cry, "WAKE UP!"

Excuse for revisiting Liberty, but this is the GOP reflecting the value of what We the People are standing up for.  This page needs a rally around it like none other since George Washington got the letter declaring War on England.

The very essence of the Greatest Ever nation to Bless this Earth is at ending peril if we do not act now.  President Reagan reminded us of what Thomas Jefferson said, 'We are only one Generation away from losing our Liberty and Freedom.'  Jefferson said, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

Thank God for giving the Founding Fathers our Constitution, as we have exchanged bullets for ballots.  Let the progressive movement move with the correction of Constitutional Conduct on all Government  powers.  States are designed for self sufficiency social wise or as we know their movement as Progressive.  Nothing wrong with community medical facilities.  Take away the handicap laws of chains around the peoples necks, called regulations.  We the people can do so ourselves, as long as you clean up the definition of lying and bring fraud back as our regulator.

Michigan Congressman Thaddeus McCotter speaks as a Founding Father, seeing clearly the abuse: of the Constitution; of the Powers limited to the National Government; of the fiscal calamity.  Let us rally this Policy, Wake UP to the Constitution Sleepy Hamlets~

Constitutional Conduct & FairTax Please,

George

Michigan Congressman Thaddeus McCotter, who chairs the Republican Policy Committee, would like your thoughts on a new pamphlet designed to rebuff the idea we are the Party of NO.  Please take the time to download or order a copy.  After you've fully read this documentthen feel free to send Representative McCotter any thoughts, ideas or encouragement you have.  It's always good to stay in touch with our elected Republican leaders.

Also please forward this on to any of your friends whom you think would be interested.

You can send your thoughts to Rep. Thad McCotter.
Order or download your copy of the Policy Committee's Pamphlet We the People: WIDE AWAKE

An excerpt from We the People: Wide Awake For Our Newest Birth of Freedom

We Are Wide Awake

They were "Wide Awakes" - Americans marching through sleepy hamlets for candidate Abraham Lincoln and the cause of human freedom. They were "Republicans!"

Today, Republicans continue to embrace our enduring duty to:

1. Expand human liberty and self-government;

2. Conserve our cherished way of life and its foundations of faith, family, community and country;

3. Empower Americans to achieve constructive, necessary change; and

4. Defend America's national security

And we act upon five permanent principles:

1. Our liberty is from God not the government;

2. Our sovereignty is in our souls not the soil;

3. Our security is from strength not surrender;

4. Our prosperity is from the private sector not the public sector; and

5. Our truths are self-evident not relative

Pop-pop-pop, is that Champagne bottles in Corporate or in the Faith-Based Communities

The positive side of this new Campaign Finance Ruling is it is very clear that Community Faith-based organizations and Pulpits are no longer gagged and can immediately begin their political groups of becoming part of the ever growing Patriot Movement with Righteous Truth as it's focus.  All of our values are wrapped up in the Law our Founding Fathers gave us, to protect the Inalienable Right to be the Children of God.  Thus the demand of Alexander Hamilton on the Justices of the Federal Court spoken to in the Federalist paper #78, ' Justices may hold their office in "Good Behavior" without limit.  That fundamental value of Law as it is or was enacted is the foundation of a Civil Society.  It is the cry of the American People to every sleepy Hamlet, to wake up and demand Constitutional Conduct by every Government official.

Now that we are free to speak, we are free to unite as a group in support of any representative that holds to this Quest.  By so doing, we will have our Nation back in 2010.  Go to this group Independence Caucus, who have established a system to define who is of Constitutional Character by an excellent vetting Questionnaire http://ourcaucus.com/

By making sure we have a candidate on every single ballot position, we can win this in one election.  All the Representatives are up and 1/3 of the Senate Federally.  Michigan is another story.

Churches will have this Power again.  If we stand up as a Populous, no Corporation dare defy the Truth.  We sill simply not allow them to be Kosher.

Constitutional Conduct and FairTax please

Do you hear that pop-pop-popping sound off in the distance?

The good news is, it ain't gunfire. The bad news is, it's corporate lobbyists and their Republican lapdogs popping champagne corks and dancing on what's left of the Constitution.

They're celebrating the Supreme Court's decision to allow giant corporations to spend unlimited amounts of money to target any member of Congress who dares cross them.

It's no exaggeration to say the very foundation of our democracy will be under attack once the tidal wave of corporate money floods into campaigns on the side of Republican candidates.

Now is no time to throw up your hands. In fact, I say it's time to throw a few elbows.

We will not accept this outrageous Supreme Court decision lying down. That's why I've committed to helping recruit 25,000 new grassroots Democratic members before President Obama's State of the Union Address Wednesday night.

Renew your 2010 Democratic membership from the DCCC at the special rate of $5 and show the world that Democrats support strong, immediate action to block powerful corporate lobbyists from hijacking our democracy.

More than 75% of the DCCC's revenue comes from grassroots supporters like you. So, your support is more important than ever. You're our only hope. We will never be able to match corporate America's billions.

Get this: for less then ten percent of Exxon's 2008 profits, it could spend $10 million on every congressional race in America.

And that's just ten percent of one company's profits for one year. Truly, the right-wing Supreme Court wants to put our Congress, our country, our very freedom on the auction block for the highest corporate bidder. And the far right wing of the Republican Party intends to be wielding the auctioneer's gavel.

The Court's radical decision, overturning decades of settled law going back to Teddy Roosevelt, held that corporations can draw unlimited amounts of money from their general treasuries and spend it on "issue ads" to attack any candidate who challenges them.

Renew your 2010 Democratic membership from the DCCC at the special rate of $5 and show the world that Democrats support strong, immediate action to block powerful corporate lobbyists from hijacking our democracy.

For example, imagine that AIG executives may now take some of the billions in tax-payer funded bailout funds they received and target with a torrent of attack ads any Democrat who challenges their obscene bonuses.

With absolutely no limit on their ability to spend money, oil companies, big insurance companies and powerful Wall Street banks will easily spend hundreds-of-millions of dollars trying to drown out the voices of the American people.

Make no mistake, our freedom is under fire. Thank goodness it's not from machine guns. But as we say in Texas, a lawyer with a pen can steal more in a minute than a criminal with a gun can steal in a lifetime.

But, we can fight back.

Renew your 2010 Democratic membership from the DCCC at the special rate of $5 and show the world that Democrats support strong, immediate action to block powerful corporate lobbyists from hijacking our democracy.

Thank you,

Paul Begala

P.S. We need to recruit 25,000 2010 members in the next 48 hours to show the world Democrats are standing up for middle class America against the powerful corporate lobbyists. Renew your 2010 membership today.

America, where did we go wrong Economically? Who knew & Took advantage?

Where did we go wrong:

Before W.W.II this Nation was a closed market to imports.  The framers of our current tax structure did so under the Americans consuming only domestic manufacturing, I imagine using the production tax system as a convenience since the bookwork was already in place and under management control.  Then we opened our trade to Japan, making for free trade.  This gave the American consumer a boost to their cashflow, making for more spending in other areas and those we lost a few jobs, the increased cashflow produced many more jobs.

President Reagan then introduced free trade to the world and opened our border to duty free import.  NO thought was given to the production tax structure in place and the new surge of cheap goods made for even greater prosperity to the American consumer, while again eliminating some jobs, but at the same time we had new technology introducing new avenues of employment, thus the excise production tax on domestic production had minimal effect.  During the period after, companies were being cannibalized for short term profit as their competition from imports was cutting into the profit margin and causing little advantage to stay in business.  These companies were closed, jobs being eliminated, as the scavenger Companies bought them up and sold them for parts or took the parts overseas to open up manufacturing to import and feed the open accounts of buyers of the closed companies products, in a duty free, production tax free advantage and at a high markup profit.

The slow demise of manufacturing in America has grown and the need of social programs from the Federal Government to prop up the American dream continued to grow, expanding deficit spending and hidden inflation.  This perpetuated the domestic excise production tax, furthering the handicap of American manufacturing.  The need for additional income into Families also grew, demanding more then two spouses could produce to keep up with the standard of living and regulations and license fees, insurance costs, to a point where a majority of Americans are now in a fiscal struggle living paycheck to paycheck, if working.  Jobs have become hard to find, many being entry level service jobs without any ability to advance or receive adequate wage.  Jobs are at a premium, even with a low reported unemployment level, which does not report and hides many who have slipped from the employment rolls due to years of job seeking frustration, especially in the urban and rural areas.

Now we find ourselves being tempted into becoming what we fought for years with our own blood to push back, fascism, Communism and the Tyranny of Government, with the promise of fiscal security.  The American Dream is on life support in need of a true free market, one of which fair trade exists.  The cost advantage of foreign imports over domestic by continuing with a production tax is about 22%, the amount of hidden tax in domestic goods.

Time is of essence, that this very hour, this Nation is about to fall.  The World Government proponents are about to make their final push for world dominance through one world currency.  The Marxist of the world have moved into leadership positions in coalition with the One World Shadow known as RHINOs, the pawns of the One World Government advocates.  The old media has joined or is owned by both powers and is a major instrument of this Coalition and is making for a unique threat to the U.S. Constitution.

The only way to prevent the above from fulfilling their mission to dominate this Nation and the World is to offer change to the American worker and Family a grand demand for their employment, jobs, jobs, jobs.  Only then will the chain of despair be broken.  The Conservative Movement must center all it's will on fixing the failing tax and trade structure of this Nation.  We must lay down the plank of the Fair Tax Plan  WWW.fairtax.org  to the Democrat and Republican Grassroots and educate them across into a Party totally centered on the character and values of the Founding Fathers, presiding under the Constitution as written through the demand on the Judiciary to be of good behavior as instructed in the Constitution and defined by Alexander Hamilton in the Federalist #78 Document.  http://www.constitution.org/fed/federa78.htm

The Fair Tax is the Salvation of the United States of America and it's Constitution of liberty and Freedom of We the People.  Make it so. Join this Rally in DC April 14-16th 2010:

President Ronald Reagan

Dear R. George, Michael and Ronald Reagan

I have no doubt my father, President Reagan, would be one of the FairTax's greatest champions had it had existed in his day. Therefore, as his eldest son, I have added my voice to the great FairTax cause.

It is time, past time for our next tax revolution—together we can make it happen!

Today I join you in the work you have accomplished with gratitude for what has been done already and a keen sense of how much more needs to be done.

Will you join me as we drive this year of 2010 The Year of the FairTax?

Click here and join my Reagan FairTax Victory Team, right here, right now!

This should be the Year of the FairTax! This is the 30th Anniversary of my father's successful campaign for President. Then, as now, the nation was mired in a deep economic recession, our nation was viewed as in decline domestically and internationally, and the American people were looking for real, positive and substantive change in the direction of our country. My father, Ronald Reagan, offered and went on to provide just that, real and positive change for the United States. The FairTax will provide the same kind of free enterprise driven economic growth, simplified tax system, reduced taxes to honest Americans, millions of new jobs and a realistic way of dealing with the massive and rapidly growing deficit.

It is time the political class heard from the rest of us about public policy that actually benefits the public instead of Washington insiders.

The FairTax is the shortest path to full economic recovery and millions of new jobs, ending Congressional corruption of the tax code and providing significant tax relief to the middle class. The FairTax is our one real hope of creating the economic boom we need to deal with the massive and growing budget deficit.

So click here. Take action now to join the Reagan FairTax Victory Team.

In the coming weeks and months, expect to see me on the national stage for the FairTax. I'll be asking a lot of you because our nation needs each of us right now.
This is our year and I am thrilled to join the fight.

Rep. Stupak not entering Michigan gov race~Jeff Lamb MI CD-1 GOP Chair

Hello

Here is a news story in the Detroit News that reports Bart is not running for governor.

It is important that each of us work to get Bart's record out.  He is voting 96% with the party.  The party message is not what the 1st district needs.

SCOTUS Ruling Not About Big Business, About YOU~Dave Funk-Candidate for Congress IA-CD3

Dave Funk for Congress

Having just posted my stance on the SCOTUS ruling earlier this morning I couldn't help but send out a follow-up.  I've been reading all over the web about "SCOTUS Gives Gift to Big Business" or SCOTUS RUINS Half a Century of Campaign Finance or SCOTUS Destroys Democracy.

This is, IN FACT, not the case.  What does the SCOTUS ruling mean and what is the result of the decision?

SCOTUS ruled that corporations had the right to free speech and could (1) run political ads up through the end of elections and (2) run ads specifically targeting candidates.  First, let's get over this leftist-born phenomenon that this implies SCOTUS just murdered democracy.  Corporations include Large Enterprises, Medium Enterprises, Small Businesses and NON-PROFITS!  In fact, this case was about a NON-PROFIT, Citizens United.

Here's why this is not and never was about big business.... read full article here

my comment:
I comment Dave on his boldness to step up to the plate and agree with him, though it took reading his article to do so.  Thank you Dave and good luck in your campaign.

The power of television media is still very strong, but Americans are slowly waking up.  My thoughts on this ruling have been divided.  On the one hand big business has big money and will be intrusive from international input.  On the other hand we have what you have said Dave, freedom to speak out unlimited.  So how do you find the value in the long run?

Our Nation has been incrementally led down the road of communism for many years, Nationalizing the Federal Government by taking powers form the State, to a point where open bribery by law is the rule of the day.  The sleepy people have trusted other Americans to be working for their benefit, when behind closed doors it is the old I, I, I that rules the day.  Elites helping elites.

Today, as this ruling comes out, we have a growing roar from Teaparty Patriots across the country, demanding the Constitution back and for change to the destructive Federal Taxation structure to FairTax, number one plank of the Patriot Movement.  The value of this ruling will be measured based on how much of the American Citizen apathy exists.  If the People do not stop being the shamed into silence Populous and stand up, big business will rule, as they have their portfolio to feed, which does not hold patriotism as important.  Why do you think we lost all our manufacturing jobs in America?  They knew when we went to the free trade policy, that the production tax structure could be evaded by moving their business overseas.  Now that they are there, they do not want to change the tax structure to fairtax to bring their business back.  Too expensive when they are now in the international market so strongly.  They would sooner send USA to third world status then have that expense or headache.

The strength of this ruling is in the freedom of Religion.  Now every pulpit can preach to the ethics of the Political world holding local representatives accountable to the people.  The small business can stand up for the candidate that supports the FairTAx plan.  If the new media continues to grow in effectiveness, this rule change can be the greatest blessing this Nation has had in a long time.  But freedom is not without hard labor to achieve and maintain.  It requires apathy to be a word in history.

Constituitonal conduct and FairTAx please

George
